Results

Implementation of this project resulted in: - Cross-border economic cooperation in TTs established/sustained; - Small scal e significant cultural and outdoor tourism infrastructure functionally equipped and signed; - Available and potential tourism assets and services mapped in the target area; - Designed pipeline of market-ready attractive standardized and detailed itineraries of variable duration, improved public and private cooperation; - Stakeholders in tourism trained for development of tourism offer based on potentials of area, for providing higher quality of services and initiation of business start-up initiatives; - Designed itineraries offered at targeted tourism market; - High quality tourism promotion tools presenting overall offer of the area are functional and presented to target markets; - Wider stakeholders groups involved in project implementation, project results further disseminated and multiplied.

SUMMARY

Overall objective is to contribute to sustainable economic development and re-establishment of cross border cooperation of economic actors in tourism and primary sector at bordering rural areas of BIH and MNE. Specific objectives of the action is to develop and standardize new and strengthen existing high quality tourism itineraries based on common attractive historical, geographical and natural assets of the area, as main potential for economic growth. Target groups are: - Regional and Local authorities (counties and municipalities involved in project); - Tourism boards; - Private sector operators in tourism (agencies, tour operators); - Rural households, - Unemployed persons; - Cultural associations and institutions.
