Results

Expected results: R1- Enhanced capacities of the youth with regard to addiction prevention and developed cross border Anti Dope Ambassadors youth network R2 – Raised awareness about the role of family institution in addiction prevention among parents from eligible area R3-Established long-term cross-border partnerships of institutional cooperation (NGOs and public) R4-Enhanced social awareness about drug problem through successful promotion of the project in the media

SUMMARY

The project seeks to strengthen sustainable social cohesion of people and institutions in the cross border region of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro through its contribution to addressing substance abuse issues amongst youth. Through its activities, the project will provide contribution to decreasing risks of drug abuse amongst youth by launching awareness raising actions and multidisciplinary approach (synergy of civil sector, public institutions and youth initiatives) of the cross border region. The project will launch at least 2 initiatives encouraging contacts, communication and cooperation between local communities and local community organisations through organisation of cross-border multisectoral meetings and launching of education network for drug prevention. Overall capacities of the project partners together with schools in targeted region as well as quality in the field of education and social development will be strengthened. Finally, local and cross-border coordination and communication achieved between citizens, civil and governmental institutions will be improved.
