The project is expected to significantly contribute to increasing control of the BiH state border, increasing the protection of people and property, crime prevention, more effective cooperation of the BiH Border Police with international security services, as well as contributing to the implementation of BiH's EU integration process.

Implementation of this project will result in: - Implementation of video surveillance system at border crossings in BiH in order to control the state border. - Integration and connection of video surveillance systems, with the aim of monitoring the process of work at border crossings from the Surveillance Center in the central office of the BiH Border Police in Sarajevo and field offices of the BiH Border Police. - Reducing crime that takes place across borders and border crossings in BiH and neighbouring countries. - More efficient control of the work of the official staff of the BiH Border Police at the international border crossings in BiH. - Expanding cooperation with international security services in order to reduce crime and increase security in BiH, the region, the EU and the world. - Increasing traffic safety. - Increasing the protection of people and property. - Increase the safety of people who are using the border crossings in BiH. - Increasing the security and protection of official staff at border crossings in BiH (BiH Border Police as well as staff of other services performing official duties). - Increasing the security of the citizens of BiH, the EU and the environment. - More rational use of existing resources and capacities as well as more efficient management of human and material resources. - Enabling the use of video surveillance as evidence in the case of criminal acts or acts that are not allowed. - Increasing the quality of work of official staff at Border Crossings. - Allowing system functions to be further developed and their application improved. - Assisting the BiH institutions in the implementation of the process of BiH integration into the EU. - Emphasizing the importance of EU projects in the implementation of the process of integration of BiH into the EU.
