Summary
The objective of the proposed action is to contribute to building resilient, primary health care-based health systems, fit for moving towards achieving Universal Health Coverage in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The proposed activities aim to achieve this objective by addressing the above constraints to financial sustainability and quality of health care systems
Results
Development of regulatory preconditions and supportive policy frameworks for introduction and scale-up of integrated, people-centred PHC service delivery in Entities/District of BiH Increased engagement of multisectoral stakeholders on primary health care/health systems reforms in Entities/District of BiH Improvements in PHC service delivery and coverage in Entities/District of BiH (pilot areas) Development of policy frameworks for scale-up of child health services with specific focus is on childhood immunization, early childhood development services, nutrition and mental health in Entities/District of BiH Sustained engagement of multisectoral stakeholders on child health care specifically in immunization, early childhood development, nutrition and mental health in Entities/District of BiH Improvements in child health service delivery and coverage in Entities/District of BiH (pilot areas) Expansion in fiscal space for health in both entities Increased engagement of stakeholders on primary health care, health financing, and other reforms
