Summary
There are two ongoing EIB’s loan programmes in water sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. These programmes have supported rehabilitation and construction of water and sanitation facilities in number of municipalities in both entities since 2010. The EU Delegation has also supported the overall program with the IPA grant funds since 2009. During the implementation of the currently on-going WATSAN projects, significant investments gaps were identified. Additional 6 million EUR was allocated under IPA 2018, to provide additional financial support to finalize implementation of on-going and ready-made project activities within WATSAN projects in selected municipalities, by contributing to the grant component of the financial mechanism. The EU Contribution shall be allocated equally between entities.
Results
