Summary
This project is related to the evaluation of the EU funded Economic and Local development initiatives. The main users of this evaluation are the EU Delegation in BiH, the relevant stakeholders that were involved in the implementation of the Action, as well as relevant private sector representatives.
Results
Implementation of this project resulted in: - An overall independent assessment of the past performance of the EU Programmes for Local Development and Employment implemented by UNDP, GIZ and ILO, paying particular attention to their results measured against their expected objectives; and the reasons underpinning such results; - Key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations, in order to improve current and future Actions. - The evaluation assessed the various actions using the standard DAC evaluation criteria plus the EU value added; - Coherence of the various actions with the EU strategy in BiH; mainstreaming of cross-cutting issues of gender, environment and climate change; and - Interlinkages with relevant SDGs.
