- To raise awareness and motivate researchers to participate in the EU and international research community projects. - To improve the competitiveness and productivity of the scientific community and economic impact of BiH to be able to participate more actively in the European research area and to be more involved in international scientific cooperation through the FP7/Horizon 2020, COST and EUREKA programmes. - Institutional capacity development of innovation centers and the reserch sector in BiH.

- Research, science and technology community of BiH benefits from the activities and opportunities that arise from the membership in the FP7. - The BiH scientific community joins the European Research Area and becomes more involved in international scientific cooperation.
