Results
1.Strengthened capacities and expansion of FGSME evident in the pilot municipalities of Novi Grad, Ilijas and Vogosca. 2.Cooperation between local communities and FGSME improved through development of action plan for business development and internet accessible SME data base for policy analysis. 3. Local capacities for existing and potential FGSME support strengthened, Business Boost Centre (BBC) established and new services for business support created. 4. Business expansion of potential FGSME achieved through provision of small grant support.SUMMARY
The project is part of the 5.2 million EUR worth IPA 2011 grant support to the local economic development in BiH which stimulates growth and jobs creation through the enhanced local partnerships and provision of business infrastructure and services.
Specifically, the project is fostering expansion of Fast and Potentially Fast Growing SMEs (FGSMEs) through the newly established Business Boost Centre (BBC) which will provide 12 new services and small grant scheme to 11 SMEs. In return, this should create cca 10% increase in employment and revenues in the assisted companies.
