Overall Objective: To empower Farmers Associations – FAs – as CSOs which will democratically involve Public Institutions and Policy Makers to promote and improve development, employment and social inclusion in rural areas, through new policies and laws to deal with agriculture, human and environmental defence. Specific Objectives: 1) To empower FAs’ competitiveness and efficiency introducing new targets and parameters related to quality of milk & dairies production; 2) To promote capacity building & trainings aimed at Farmers and Municipal Agricultural experts, about EU’s criteria for quality evaluation and management of animal rearing in the target region; 3) To promote and develop qualified FAs network aimed at production, statistical results for excellent quality and quantity output, and to lobby for new legislation on social inclusion and employment of people in rural areas; 4) To enhance FAs role as main counterparts within the departments of “agriculture” and “environment” of Public Administrations and Government through their active participation in policy and decision making processes.

Expected results: 1) The FAs to be most powerful CSOs in their areas with common economic, social motivations with better social inclusions of all people in the democratic processes; 2) Improvement of quality of agricultural production, following EU standard quality rules and parameter; 3) Critical Mass of the FAs to obtain improvements in: regulations and legislations in terms of social inclusion of all sections of society of the rural areas; 4) The FAs and the Agriculture Municipality and Ministerial experts updated to provide new rules preparing BiH for inclusion in all EU standards.
