SUMMARY

Overall objective: Contribute to the more dynamic civil society actively participating in public debate on democracy, human rights, social inclusion and the rule of law and with capacity to influence youth policy and decision making processes regarding implementation of youth laws in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Specific objectives: 1) Build capacities and strengthen youth issue based CSO network and enable cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experience between youth CSO and youth councils, in order to become stronger partner in the dialogue with the governmental authorities in preparation, implementation and monitoring of youth policy at all political levels in BiH. 2) Establish sustainable institutional mechanism of governmental-civil society dialogue in order to impact joint preparation, monitoring and implementation of youth policy in BiH. 3) Establish sustainable system for monitoring, evaluation, analysis and advocacy for implementation of youth policy at all political levels in BiH.

RESULTS

1) 13 Network members from BiH have developed skills for professional and sustainable management and have been trained through 6-module course to professionally represent the interests of their members and target groups and to institutionally solve the youth problems in dialogue with governmental authorities, as well as to conduct preparation, implementation and monitoring of youth policy at all political levels in BiH. 2) Sustainable institutional mechanism of governmental-civil society dialogue in order to impact joint preparation, monitoring and implementation of youth policy in BiH established in at least 4 municipalities, 2 cantons at state and entity level. 3) Improved legitimacy, accountability and transparency of CSO network through providing at least 9 reports of monitoring of youth policy implementation in 4 municipalities, 2 cantons, state and entity level.
