SUMMARY

Overall objective: Contribute toward decrease of corruption in BiH by improving prevention of corruptive activities, strengthening the civil society watch-dog and monitoring roles and raising anti-corruption public awareness. Specific objectives: 1) Contribute toward full vertical implementation of BH Strategy for Fighting Corruption in public health sector, by passing anti-corruption measures in all the ministries and health care funds, and at least at the level of one entity and 3 cantons; 2) Enhance responsibility and transparency in public health sector by advocating and monitoring of passing and implementing the anti-corruption measures, by engaging the network of at least 5 monitoring CSOs, and releasing 3 semi-annual progress reports; 3) Inform at least 1 million BH citizens about the progress with the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy and actualize the importance of fight against corruption, with the minimum of 150 media releases, 3 press conferences, 6 TV/radio thematic programs, 10 internet blogs/forum discussions/facebook groups and by making 3 documentary films about fighting corruption.

RESULTS

ER 1: The risk and perception of corruption in health sector reduced by 50% ; ER 2: Full implementation of Chapter 2 of the Strategy and the Action Plan for Fighting Corruption achieved in the health sector in target territory; ER 3: Developed and tested methodology for risk management and the plans of integrity in the health sector; ER 4: At least one entity and 3 cantonal health care ministries and at least 4 health funds, adopted and started implementing anti-corruption measures
