Summary
General objective: To contribute to the implementation of the Action Plan for implementation of Strategy for combating corruption (2009-2014) in Brcko District, in the part that relates to raising public awareness and cooperation with non-governmental institutions. Specific objectives: To provide that governmental institutions (Department for Professional and Administrative work and its Subdepartment for support to the local communities, citizents associations and NGOs) accomplish minimum two items from the Action Plan; Raise awareness of civil society and citizens about issues related to corruption in everyday life through media visibility, advocacy and education campaigns.
Results
- 2 procedures developed on the fulfillment of 2 objectives from the Action Plan for implementation of Strategy for combating corruption (2009-2014) in Brcko District. - Media campaign and public awareness on implementation of the Brcko District strategy on combating corupption performed. - government officials trained about the Action plan for combating corruption; - 100 representatives of NGOs trained about the Action plan for combating corruption; - Statistical report on corruption in Brcko district area compailed.
