Summary
Overall objective of this project is support to reform higher education in accordance with EU st andards and to enable students to obtain education which provides them with the practical skills needed on the labour market in BiH. Project purposes are: - Establishing a functional Network as a vehicle for social change connecting civil society actors: universities, business community, student associations, across BiH, for carrying out a comprehensive reform - Strengthening the Network’s capacity for assessing, defining and preparing the necessary institutional framework, cooperating and implementing an extensive advocacy and media campaigns for the purpose of conducting reforms. - Undertaking higher education framework impr ovement aiming to secure youth employment through enterprise-based learning.
Results
Implementation of this project resulted in: - Cross-sector cooperation established through the Network in all parts of BiH. - Network meet regularly, adopt joint decisions and take joint actions. - CSOs are empowered and trained to design a necessary policy measures, cooperate with each other, launch and undertake legislative, advocacy and media campaigns - Successful higher education reform enables students at universities in BiH to acquire practical skills that meet EU best practice and prepares young people to me et the demands of the labour market.
