Summary
The objective of the action is to enhance the effectiveness of the Bosnia and Herzegovina judiciary and to increase public trust in the country’s justice system. The expected results are increased capacity of judiciary institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina (staff, procedures, equipment and facilities) for dealing with cases of organised crime, corruption, war crimes, commercial crimes and other types of cases, and to strengthen the technical capacity of the Office of Disciplinary Council, as well as the communication between judiciary institutions and the public/media.
Results
Implementation of this project resulted in:
- Enhanced overall effectiveness of the BiH judiciary and increase public trust in the country’s justice system
- Increased accountability and transparency of the BiH judiciary by providing better services for citizens and businesses
