SUMMARY

During the period 2007 to 2014, the EU invested over 20 million euro in the modernisation of the courts and prosecutorial offices throughout BiH. Such support primarily focused on the informatization of such institutions and introduction of their respective case management systems. In addition, infrastructure support was provided to certain courts. The ultimate aim is to create an efficient service for citizens of BiH, and by doing so significantly reduce the court case backlog. This support is directly linked to new infrastructural support which will commence in 2015 with the view of rehabilitating the working environment of certain courts and prosecutor offices throughout BiH.
