The assistance should contribute to comparability of BiH education systems with education systems in EU based on the EU Strategy 2020. It will further develop Qualification frameworks in BiH in order to have it implemented in BiH schools. Qualification Frameworks will be furter developed in primary and general secondary education, Vocational education and training (VET) and system of informal and non-formal education within the Qualification Framework.

Expected results: Qualifications Framework developed for primary and general secondary education in BiH. Draft referencing report for general education with reference to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) prepared. Standards of pupils’ and students’ achievements for primary and secondary education developed. Documents for the implementation of the external Matura at the end of general secondary education drafted. Report with recommendation o the training of teachers regarding key competences (life skills), and on the updating of professional skills of subject teachers. Situational analysis report on, and documents for, the reform of the pre-service and in-service education for pre-primary, primary and general secondary school teachers.
