SUMMARY

The objective of assitance was to support to the social and economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the continuation of educational reform and development of life-long entrepreneurial learning with specific reference to the country's commitment to the human capital dimensions of the European Charter for Small Enterprise and the provisions of the “Oslo Agenda for Entrepreneurship Education in Europe”. It contributed to strengthening of the institutional and human capacity and strategic development of entrepreneurial learning in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Futhermore, it will contribute to increased mobility of labour force through reducing a gap between systems of education and labour. Result 1: Entrepreneurial learning integrated as one of a key competence in primary, general secondary and vocational education, including more specific entrepreneurship skills in secondary and vocational education (ISCED 2 and 3) in selected subject Result 2: Selected and agreed between beneficiaries strategic priorities from Action Plans of Strategy for entrepreneurial learning in education systems in BiH for 2012-2015 Action plan covering priorities identified for first two years of implementation implemented Result 3: Recognition of in-formal and non-formal learning according to TNA (training needs analysis) and systems of certification and identification of institutions responsible for recognition in line for QF developed

RESULTS

Gap analysis of practices in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding entreprenurial learning was conduced and the document "Baseline survey on Entrepreneurial Learning good practices in the EU and BiH” was drafted. "Strategy for entrepreneurial learning in education systems in BiH including medium-term implementation plan 2012 – 2015" was drafted and adopted by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The teacher training and peer support was orgnised and good practices in teaching and learning relevant to develop the entrepreneurial spirit were identifed. The partenship development workshops were held and proposals for local partnerships and teacher training and peer review were agreed. Twenty pilot schools implemented entrepreneurial learning scenarios with the involvement of over 350 pupils and 25 teachers. A "Handbook for Teachers and Schools for the Introduction of Entrepreneurial Learning in BiH" was drafted introducing entrepreneurial learning scenarios. It also inculded guidelines for the development of effective local partnerships.
