The main purpose of the project was to support the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in developing its institutional capacity related to the implementation of the WTO, CEFTA and SAA, EU accession and further multilateral negotiations.

This Project was designed to support BiH Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations (MoFTER) and other stakeholders involved in the Foreign Trade Policy in the implementation of the obligations of IA/SAA, further assist the negotiation process with WTO, implement the obligations of CEFTA and assist in the implementation of the sound Foreign Trade Policy, and moreover raise the capacities of MoFTER staff in the implementation of the above mentioned fields. Support has also been provided to MoFTER to raise awareness among the economic operators, the public and the media regarding the implications of the various agreements being negotiated.
