Results
Implementation of this project resulted in: - Strengthened capacities and networking of organisations and institutions aiming to work on enhancing social inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities trough sport activities. - Improved level of mobility, participation and inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities in cultural and sport life on national and regional level. - Raised awareness of policy makers, representatives of institutions and other sport stakeholders and citizens about sport as a mean for contribution to better participation and social inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities.SUMMARY
Overall project objective is to contribute to equality and protection of the rights of persons with intellectual disabilities for the participation in cultural life, recreation, leisure and sport in accordance with UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Specific objective is to enhance social inclusion and participation of persons with intellectual disabilities from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina trough mainstreaming sporting activities.
RESULTS
