The project was realized in support of component "people to people", primarily in the field of beekeeping and horticulture.
The project objective regarding improvement of conditions for development of beekeeping in the border municipalities of Prijepolje and Gorazde has been acomplished through a series of activities. The capacities of the administrative boards have been strengthened and the beekeepers associations' were equipped, which created better conditions for their work. Education of beekeepers and fruit growers through a series of seminars and trainings, provision of equipment for beekeeping, organizing two fairs and participation in a national exhibition in Sarajevo contributed to involvement of a greater number of people in the project, especially women.
