The project's general goal was improvement of enviromental protection and efficiency of resource use in the territory of the municipalities of Ub and Modrica. Focus in project implementation was given to minimising the negative impact of waste on the environment, procurement of bins and dumpsters for selective waste collection and composters, prevention of people and animal health deterioration, improving waste management system, developing people’s environmental awareness and culture through cross-border cooperation and different actions, etc.
