Summary
The project related to promotion of development of creative industries (CI), exchange of good practices, strengthen the creative youth work and models of CI in the project area. Project objectives included informing the public, especially local authorities about CI stakeholders’ attitudes, needs and potentials, strengthening cross-border people-to-people interaction to jointly participate in local economic development through investment in CI and Youth Empowerment in Project area, strengthening the capacity of youth groups and local governments for creative development and urban regeneration, promoting examples of good practice and models of local development through youth initiatives. Target groups were young people, local authorities, NGOs, community based organisations, educational organisations, research organisations, SMEs. Final beneficiaries: policy makers in CI, SMEs, trainers, cultural administrations and managers, youth and general culture audience, politicians, public in general.
Results
Over 3,000 people directly and indirectly informed about mapped stakeholders, their attitudes, needs and potentials based on concluded surveys; 130 stakeholders networked and motivated on local economic development through Regional Conference (RC); Over 1,500 people took part in local creative development and urban regeneration by means of workshops, trainings and Creative Days conducted; Examples of good practice and models of local development through youth creative initiatives and achievements promoted.
