Summary
This project is about supplying the equipment for the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange (IDDEEA), which will additionally enhance the technical capacity of the agency, necessary for support the current and planned e-service users (enabling all citizens, companies and civil society to complete their transactions with the public administration in a transparent, secure, simplified, and expedited way, at lower financial costs). IDDEEA will promote cooperation between public administration authorities in their work with citizens and civil society organizations, and implement recommendations for good practice in EU member states. This project will enable implementation of rules, mechanisms and web tools to standardize the disclosure of information of public interest such as: - statistical data on data exchange in electronic registers of IDDEEA, and - statistical data on use of telecommunication resources. This will make the activities of IDDEEA more transparent, effective and consequently and will result in more effective fight against corruption. It will also enable progress in the field of economic development and investment, especially when it comes to data transparency.
Results
Implementation of this project will result in: - Improved existing IT capacities in IDDEEA, - Performance of IDDEEA help in strengthening capacities of public bodies in overall in BiH, - Public bodies expected to provide better services to BIH citizens, - Process of reform of public bodies will be improved, which makes BIH one step closer to EU integration process, - Significant improvement of overall activity of Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH.
