Summary
Through capacity building activities, this Project contributed to the strengthening of anti-corruption activities, projects and measures initiated by civil society.
Results
Two main results have been achieved: • Capacity building and strengthening of CSOs One of the Project's objectives was to strengthen of NGOs' capacity to effectively counteract, monitor and prevent corruption by enhancing knowledge, professionalism and expertise of NGO representatives, based on identified EU practices. The conducted activities included the development of situational gap analysis of NGO's capacities and training needs assessment, the development of training platform, and a Training of Trainers for selected representatives from the NGO sector. These activities helped NGOs improve their operational capacity to detect integrity violations, and their capacity to articulate and disseminate information about corruption. • Building monitoring capacities CSO's monitoring capacity of anti-corruption reforms has improved, through the development of indicators which monitor efficiency of anti-corruption reforms.
